Back To Basic With A Modern Touch

The Chinese New Year is less than a month away and shopping malls throughout the country are already packed with shoppers looking for that perfect outfit.
If you're looking for something that's traditional yet modern, make a beeline for Metrojaya. The shopping giant recently launched its Chinese New Year fashion line by in-house brands Emanuele, Passages, Cape Cod, East India Company and Somerset Bay.
Emanuele leads the competition with its bold animal skin prints. With it's updated traditional wear, Emanuele's line screams attention. Purple seems to be the trend this year as it was on the red carpet of Hollywood's Golden Globe Awards. The Emanuele collection offers you dresses and blouses in bold red, shades of pink and hints of purple. The collection has up the ante this year by offering its customers a wide selection of imported fabrics from Europe, Korea and Japan. A couple of key pieces to look out for are the updated Cheongsam with Raglan sleeves and Godet inserts.
Emanuele gives you that updated traditional look
